So, I’m feeling kind of important and cool right now… I just got my first official fan mail. It’s the only thing, other than hate mail (which, seriously, who would send hate mail to somebody who writes about denim? Honestly, that’s just absurd.), that makes me feel like I’m doing something right.

I’d like to say that a ton of planning and thought goes into each of these entries, but… you know, I’m not going to lie to you. I’m a broke, unemployed college graduate. All I have is time (particularly when I have this big house to myself… you’d laugh at the dreadfully wonderful horror movies I’ve chosen to watch, like Lindsay Lohan’s I Know Who Killed Me… gets me every time. :D ) , so all I really want to do is sit here, shop with you guys and blog.

Plus, I’ve got to find a way to earn back that $55 I just spent on the gorgeous cotton/cashmere linQ sweater… thanks for that, Melissa.

Besides, if I wasn’t on here, I’d probably be losing my mind. I mean, what time is it now? Is it okay to be drunk this early?

No?

So, you see why I shop. Because, even though shopping is a really bad habit of mine, it beats alcoholism hands down.

And, it’s not like I’m going to go running or something. I mean, I should, yes. But, what if something sells out here?

What if I’m the one who misses the linQ cashmere sweater? (Sorry, Christina! I love you!)

Listen, I’m not saying that this is a healthy addiction. What I’m saying is… it could be worse.

Oh Jaime… my work is seasonal and in the winter I would usually go nuts. However, this year RTC has saved me and I am having a blast (although spending money when your not making any is generally not the best plan! oops). And BTW I joined you in buying the cashmere sweater I couldn’t quite afford but am so thrilled to have. Do ya think the hubby and kids would mind ramen noodles for a week…?

awww baby. I’m sorry. Vodka’s gotta be around there somewhere.

I’m probably just going to ship my cart out, since I’m broke and out of redtagcash until Thursday… maybe, if you’re good, I’ll go out to VA and share the cashmere wealth with you. :)
