Sometimes, I feel a little bit like a house mother at a sorority here on RTC. Maybe that’s because I’m always on (and yes, I promise, I do sleep. Last night, I got like ten hours!), or maybe it’s because of the relationships I’ve built with the girls. Either way, it’s kind of a great feeling, and I wouldn’t give it up unless I had to.

A lot of you know I had an interview for a big girl job recently.

And, a lot of you know how well it went. I had a big, big decision to make, and it wasn’t one I could just brush off lightly. It’s been hard.

I’m, as of this moment, not going to take it (sorry, Kia!). It’s nothing against the company, or what they offered me. Believe me, they set up a pretty awesome package for me to accept.

But, it still just isn’t RTC. I’m going to stay on and keep blogging my little heart out, whether you all want me to or not (although, if it’s the latter… maybe you should stop reading the blog.). I’m open to new ideas at all times… and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to use the blog as a way to drop hints to you guys on what’s coming next on the site (like I did for Denim Day… which I’m still super psyched about!), whether that hint is a new bag, some new linQ, or a hot new denim brand that I think you’ll all swoon over.

I’m still always looking for people to blog about what they’re interested in, whether that has to pertain to the site or not. We have an amazing set of bloggers, but I can always get excited to have one more (or hell, five more, I’m not picky!). A lot of our bloggers write on occasion, and there’s not a certain quota you have to make each week.

I just love all the different perspectives, the different lives, and the different people who have come together on this site. No wonder I don’t want to leave.

This is where I want to be, guys. I’m not leaving yet. :)

I totally feel ya Jaime! Eventhough I know how tough the economy is right now and at times it seems like I should latch on to any job that is offered to me, I still hold out for that one job that would make me so freakin happy to get out of bed and go to each day. I don’t want to work just to get a paycheck. I want to feel that passion for what I do too.
I’m glad that you have decided to stay with RTC! I don’t know what I would do w/o your advice and pictures! :)

Selfishly I am so happy you are not taking that job..Hopefully Melissa and SA can take you under their wing here sometime soon and then you don’t need another job to go to!! I will vouch for you:D

Awe, JP! I am so glad that you are not leaving. I wouldn’t know what to do without you! Maybe you could find a job that allowed you to do both!
