Missshop’s Handbag Wishlist (Number Two)

March 24th, 2009 by Jennifer in Handbags, Jennifer, Red Tag Crazy, anything goes, red tag crazy blog

When doing my research for the Chanel bag on my first handbag blog I thought to myself what a damn dream job it would be to research things you love and blog about them for a living. I enjoy pulling up pictures and learning new things about stuff I love and sharing with other women. For a living I type reports for doctors. My day can easily consist of typing about diarrhea, vomiting, erectile dysfunction, aches and pains with family practice or fractures, steroid injections, strains and sprains with orthopedics or my very favorite phlegm, snot, mucus and all that is gross with my allergist doctor. You can see why I might feel gleeful on switching to the subject of a pretty handbag. So anyways let us get to handbag number two on Missshop’s wishlist.

I love Marc Jacobs. My favorite thing about him is that he is kind of a rebel. He has had his ups and downs. He went from looking kind of geeky and shy to being tan, muscular and kind of HOT. He is a normal guy who has his ups and downs and proves that no matter how successful and rich you are your problems do not go away. The guy has been through rehab and relationship issues, but is still coming out with beautiful handbags.

The other thing I love and respect Marc Jacobs for is his more affordable line Marc by Marc Jacobs. He makes owning a beautiful line of clothing, accessories and handbags for everyone and not just the rich. The Marc by Marc Jacobs line of handbags range anywhere from $100 to $700 and are just as wonderful in quality. I own two Marc by Marc bags and the leather is so soft and supple I could just eat it.

Celebrities love Marc Jacobs. You always see this beautiful arm candy on some of the most fabulous women. His ads are quite hilarious also with the beautiful Victoria Beckham. Some people may find the ads with her strange, but I love them. I really enjoy seeing that side of her, and by that side of her I mean being silly and not PERFECT looking.

My reason for doing this blog and picking Marc Jacobs is the clutches. I am not a huge clutch girl because I like having free hands especially when shopping and for fear of leaving it because I am not used to carrying a clutch. I love Marc Jacobs’ clutches because they are BIG and COLORFUL. They scream FUN and I cannot get enough of them.

As you see Marc Jacobs has found a way to make clutches so fun and they make Missshop drool. I do realize that Marc Jacobs is not for everyone, but he is definitely for me. If I could have any Marc Jacobs clutch I would pick the one below on Lauren Conrad from The Hills on MTV.

This can be dressed up or down as seen in pictures. I love the bright color and the size. So if anyone wants to send me this clutch, I surely will be grateful. :)

Well I hope you enjoyed a little peek into Marc Jacobs wonderful creations. What do you ladies think of Marc Jacobs? Does anyone own any of his beautiful handbags. I am the proud owner of two and would love to make the clutch number three.

Hint Hint on handbag number three of my handbag list:

Pricy

Rich in color

A hippy look

Delicious enough to drool over

A major WANT for many women!!!

I am not a clutch girl either (same reasons!), but that blue clutch is to die for – I think I could make an exception!
