My very first RedTagCrazy package! Apologies, this blog comes wayyyy later than I had planned. I started it… but then things got busy for me so I put this on the back burner. This package came months ago. So this blog review is long overdue. Actually, since most of these items are from so long ago, these reviews might not be very relevant to the items now, but oh well. I enjoy blogging.
Anyway, back to the package. When it finally got to be in my hands I just kind of stared at it for a little bit, in awe, as if I was just handed the Holy Grail. Well, the Holy Grail isn’t half as exciting. Actually, believe it or not, I waited about a full hour until my friend could come over so that she’d be there when I opened it. That’s how important it was to me. I couldn’t do this alone. So when she finally got here, I opened the plain brown cardboard box, and inside contained a sleek black box equivalent to pirate’s booty. I slowly opened the black box and ::GASP:: the famed pink tissue paper. So I squealed, literally. Anyways, here’s what was in my package:
- Zlush Combat Girl Camo T-Back
- Zlush Dragon Embroidery Denim Skirt
- LinQ 3/4 Sleeve V-Neck Tee
- LinQ Basic Tank
- Rich & Skinny Sweet Jeans in Trippin Wash
First up is the Zlush Combat Girl Camo T-Back in size medium. This, I kind of forgot to take a picture of me in. But oh well, I’m probably going to be wearing it to sleep mostly anyway. Hmm compared to the LinQ stuff, the fabric is a little bit scratchy. Also, even though in juniors sizing I regularly fit into mediums, I found this medium to run very fitted, almost like a juniors small.
Then I tried the Zlush Dragon Embroidered Skirt. I bought it in small. It was pretty true to size. The skull button is annoying though. It takes time to button and unbutton, so I’ll probably be replacing that soon. I mean, it looks kind of cool but it is somewhat impractical. Also, I didn’t find the string stitching thing at the bottom to be to my taste so I took it off very easily. Sorry Zlush, I just thought it looked better that way! This skirt is made of very sturdy-feeling denim and the embroidering looks very well done.

Next I tried on the LinQ items I bought. The 3/4 Sleeve V-neck Tee I bought in extra small, and the Basic Tank I bought in small. Since these were my first items I wanted to figure out my sizing with LinQ. The LinQ 3/4 Sleeve V-neck Tee in extra small I bought in the color charcoal. I really like the color, because when I buy gray things I usually like them heathered. This size fit snugly but not tight. It was a little bit tight on my arms but maybe that’s because my arms are a little bit thick. I liked how the v-neck wasn’t too low and it was very flattering. The LinQ Basic Tank in size small that I bought in the color fuchsia is gorgeous. I lovelovelove the rich color. I love how soft it is. I think with this particular tank I should have sized down, but I’m still keeping it.

Last but definitely not least are the Rich & Skinny Sweet Jeans in Trippin Wash that I bought in size 25. These I bought on Denim Day, my only DD purchase. They fit me but they are tight, which technically I could remedy by actually working out once in a while…. The wash is gorgeous. When I tried these on, my friend said my butt actually looked good, which says A LOT seeing as how I have pretty much the flattest and most nonexistent butt in the world. I love how the waistband is lined in a lovely soft fabric. And they are very soft, well maybe soft to me, seeing as how all the other jeans I own are very cheap. So I’m very proud of this first designer jean purchase, especially how I got such a great deal on it. I’ve already hemmed them and I was scared to hem them at first because I’ve never hemmed before. I wanted to practice on an old pair but all of my other jeans are already hemmed… But they turned out fine and you can hardly tell they were hemmed. And hemmed no longer sounds like a word, I’ve been saying it so much.
