Next up on backcountry’s list of ODAT sites: www.chainlove.com

As you can guess, this site is  much like a few of the previous mentioned backcountry affiliates, selling gear, biking gear, to be exact,  at seriously discounted prices. Chainlove basically specializes in selling top of the line biking equipment, gear, and apparel all day, every day. Again, like the other ODAT sites you see on the net, there is a time limit as how long each item is up for grabs; don’t let this intimidate you, though, though. I am sure that many of you avid RTC shoppers will agree with me when I say that it doesn’t take any time before this fast pace shopping method becomes second hand nature to you.

Chainlove also offers alerts for upcoming sales; as well as a forum that is on their site, but not on the home page, like RTC’s chick chat. Their forum is up at the top of the page, where the link “forum” sits. You can go to their forum and read reviews  that buyers have written about the items they purchase from chainlove.

Their Mission:

“Biking is your lifeblood, not your hobby, and you’re not a millionaire (yet). You’re addicted, and Chainlove is here to help. We’re the stone-cold pusher on your corner with the premium product at cut-rate prices. Our merchandise? Everything from the Tour to the North Shore, and we’re not afraid to take it off the back of a truck if our connect gets spooky. We’re talking completes, components, apparel, tools—just name your vice.”

Here’s how it goes down

If you notice, at the bottom of their “about us” section (linked above), backcountry.com makes a few statements that more or less express their absolutely zero tolerance policy for customers buying and re-selling the gear for profit. In fact, they feel so strongly about this matter, they are prepared to make appropriate actions if they do catch any buyers abusing their system.

“Abuse will result in swift punishment of a most merciless nature.

You’ve been warned.”

See? Told you so.

So I guess you could say that they are pretty serious about this issue; which is absolutely understandable, considering the fact that they are doing their shoppers a huge favor, (much like RTC does their customers) by offering them these great brand name, quality ensured items for unbelievable prices. Also, due to their limited amount of inventory, it is completely absurd for customers to get away with buying out an entire stock of gear from chainlove, or any of their other ODAT sites, then resell them on eBay for their retail value.

So if you are a hardcore biker, in need of high quality gear and apparel to support your hobby, check out chainlove.com. (see, I even made it easy for you. all you have to do is click that link, or, click on that picture up above ^^^ and it will take you right there!)

And if you are an eBay seller, looking to find killer deals on things that are NWT, and worth way more than you have to pay for them, so that you can turn around and sell in your eBay store for twice the price you  paid; then guess what?!?!
