Thanks to RTC, I took the opportunity recently to load up on some glorious Aude. The all-Aude day actually fell on my birthday, so I was away from the computer all that day and all weekend! Thankfully, I had some help from Ms. Kricket and her wonderful texting throughout the day so that I didn’t miss anything! I ended up buying quite a few things, and here they are!

First up:

Aude Sienna Tank, Size 1, Powder Blue

I love this tank. A lot of times, Aude runs big on me, which is really disappointing because I love it. However, the Sienna tank is only slightly big. The powder blue color is just gorgeous. It’s light and bright… I love it and I’m not a blue person at all! I have a white tank on underneath it… I thought it looked cute and might wear it that way

Aude Maya Thermal, Size 1, Palm

This one, I owe to Christina. I have heard her rave about her Aude thermal in the past, so I knew I had to jump on this sale. All of the colors I wanted were sold out, so I went for the Palm. And ya know, I really like this color. It’s a really pretty teal/green combination. I also love the fabric, it is ridiculously soft, and I swear it’s more flattering than the picture above shows! Now all I need is a Palm colored tank to go under it… hmmmm

Aude Ryan Fleece Cardigan, Size 1, Merlot

I wasn’t sure about this when I bought it, but I do like it. It’s very soft and fleecy, and the pockets are lovely. I kind of get a “bathrobe” vibe from it, but I think that this fleece will be acceptable in the winter at work. I might even keep it at work for when I get cold. The second picture is not me doing the Macarena but it’s supposed to show you how long the sleeves are. I am pretty short and they are definitely still 3/4 length on me.

And for the “what didn’t work” section:

Aude Spencer Dress, Size 1, Aqua

I am so bummed that this dress didn’t work. The slub cotton is gorgeous and so soft. But as you can tell, the top half was massive! If only I could tie up the shoulders… I could have them hemmed, but figured I would rather send it back and take a chance on something else… I did hear a rumor that there was a tie-shoulder Aude dress… On the prowl for that now!
