I was so excited about this shipment since 4 out of the 6 items were dresses, which I love!  Unfortunately 3 of them were misses on me, but I did get a couple of winners.

The Keepers:

Left on Houston Silence Dolman Sleeve Scoop Neck Dress, Black, XS

I love this dress! It’s so comfortable and thick (definitely an autumn or winter-weight dress rather than summer), and I think it’s actually flattering on me.  It is a bit short, but luckily not too short.

Aude Carol Tank, Dandelion, Size 1

I love the fit of this tank, which is fitted at the bust and loose at the bottom, and the racerback is great. The dandelion color is a very pale, lemony yellow. The only drawback is that it’s very sheer, but that also means it’s perfect for hot weather. I wore it out as soon as I received it today.

88 Orange Monarch Elbow Sleeve Top, Ocean, Size 1

I purchased this for my sister after I loved my steel colored one (size 3) so much.

The Returns/Swapgroup Items:

Aude Mettler Dress, Black, Size 1

I was hoping this would become my go-to casual black dress, but unfortunately I found it much too short (and I’m only 5′ 4″) and sheer. Also, I didn’t realize when I bought it that the skirt is actually a stiffer cotton material, not cotton jersey like the top.  I COULD wear the dress, but it would just kind of look like I shrunk it in the dryer. And I would need a slip.

Aude Spencer Dress, Aqua, Size 1

I love the bright aqua color of this dress, but once again, it was too sheer.  Combine the sheerness with the ultra-low neckline (it would look better on someone with a bigger chest, I think) and I just look like I’m wearing a nightgown. An extremely comfortable, cute nightgown, but not an appropriate day dress, for me anyways.

For Joseph Linen Jacquine Dress, Citrine, XS

This dress fits me, but it just didn’t look that flattering. It is a bit poofy in the hip region and tight in the bust. I can wear it, but it isn’t the greatest look on me. Alas, it was a crazy sale item, so I’ve listed it on the swap group. If no one buys it, I suppose I could wear it somewhere.

All in all, I was a little disappointed, but my Aude returns just mean I’ll have rtc cash to spend soon enough.
