Being a pretty flat-chested gal myself, celebrities like Kate Hudson, Selma Blair, and Claire Danes are people I really admire. They don’t go along with the trend of getting implants just because. I think that’s quite respectable. For this blog I am going to focus on Kate Hudson, just because she is often seen out and about in some pretty cute outfits.

I think Kate usually has a pretty decent sense of style. She’s really been into the boots over jeans thing the past few years:

I really like both of these outfits on Kate. The gray boots and sweater work really well together, and I like that she put a black purse with the outfit too. I thought that maybe this would be too matchy-matchy, but after looking at it for a while, I decided I really like it. I think her hair adds to it, I tried to picture it on me, and felt blah. Almost everything looks better on blondes! The second outfit has cowboy boots instead of the higher heeled gray pair, which is kinda cute – I don’t see this too often. I wasn’t sure if I would like this outfit either, because the jacket is pretty different, but I think it works on her. Not sure if I’d wear it myself though.

Now this is one of those looks that only works on very teeny people. First of all, I don’t like that she didn’t hem these jeans. I mean if anyone can afford hemming, it’s celebrities right?! But besides that, I like the color she chose in this shirt, and it really is a pretty cute little outfit for running errands with her son. Do you guys think it’s too baggy? I was torn, but eventually decided that I kinda like it. However, if I didn’t know who she was, I’d probably think she’s a little sloppy.

This outfit is a little more cute and clean than the last one. She seems to like blue tones, and it does flatter her hair and skin tone really well, in my opinion. I really like this dress. It has a belt right under the bust, which will help to emphasize her shape. The knee length with flats are perfect for a young mom who doesn’t want to look dowdy but not too risque either. I mean, she has to be able to run to catch up to her son, as you can tell from this shot!

And finally, something kinda crazy, but I think it works for Ms. Hudson. She has the great benefit of being able to wear something like this. She is kind of stick straight (minus her tush, which she does have a great one – see below…), so this pattern actually really works well for her. It gives her the illusion of angles and depth – very different, but I really like it. The length is also great for her, since the most shapely part of her is her awesome legs. (PS: JEALOUS) Am I totally off base?
