GeeZees: Mix of Art and Fashion

Of course, I have the wedding bug. So when Mr. Fiancee is doing homework and the dogs will let me have a second to breathe, I scour the internet for some great wedding bargains. Usually I find cheap crap or super expensive…crap. I discovered Etsy a little while ago and I’ve bought earrings, a veil and my bridesmaids’ shoes! What did I find today? Read on…

That’s a link to the wedding gallery, which is the main gallery I find to be the mix of art and fashion. The photos are all customer submitted, of course, so the other galleries (while lovely and wonderful ideas) don’t bring fashion into the mix. Romantic touches on it, but merely because it is so closely intertwined with the wedding section.

I love the focus on the words, but I also love how the couple is highlighted. One of my favorites is Wedding 12 – they seem like such a fashionable couple. Look at the sheen on him and the heels on her.

Moving to the third wedding canvas listed, look at the design on her bodice.

The wedding canvas under that – look at her dress! It’s gorgeous and so free flowing. I love it.

I know the average bear wouldn’t draw the line between the art and fashion world with these canvases, but since my first appearance on RTC (over 7 months ago!) I have been continuously more aware of the fashion world – out on the town, online and in works of art. I guess it all just matters where you look.

The idea is ingenious and the results are fantastic. I’m buying, are you?
