By the time you read this, I’ll be on my way to Mexico… but that doesn’t mean you can’t take a peek at what I brought with me! I had this last shipment rushed to me so that it’d make it here in time, and it was here just in time for me to try everything on, write up a quick blog, pack it, and be off!

Remember how I mentioned I needed something to wear on the plane? I think I found it.

Zensei Dragon Short Sleeve Zip-Up Hoodie, Black, Size 1

I know my arms might be cold, but I’ll survive. I LOVE this hoodie. I put off buying it for months and months, but I loved it from the start! When I saw it go on crazy sale, I knew I had to jump on it, since there were only a few size 1’s in black. I love the black with the white and gold dragons. It’s very true to size, this fits me just like any other XS would. I know I will get a LOT of wear out of this baby. Here’s a closer shot of the dragon design:

Next up, a bunch of Aude! I am SO happy that RTC got a bunch of new Aude in… I am really reaping the benefits! I got two new colors of tanks I already own:

Aude Sienna Tank, Black, 1 and Aude Madden Tank, Chestnut, 1

Okay, don’t mind the pink bra. I know these are pretty see thru – but I would wear different undergarments, and really, both of these can be easily layered. I loved my blue Sienna tank and my Ivory Madden tank from a long time ago so much that I just had to have other colors! I think I will layer the two Siennas together for sure – what do you think, light over dark or dark over light?

Aude Jeffrie Top, White, 1

This tank was somewhat of an impulse buy, but I really love it, and now I wish I’d gotten it in more colors! If anyone wants to get rid of any Aude Jeffrie tanks, let me know! The straps are somewhat long, which means that it’s quite low cut, but that’s not too bad. I can see myself wearing this with jeans out and about during a hot day, or under a cardigan when it starts to cool off. I love tanks with a little bit of flair like this.

For Joseph Light Cotton Jin Tunic, White, Extra Small

Here’s another crazy sale impulse buy. I think I was having a bad day at work, so I sprung to buy myself a new sweater I’d been eyeing. This fabric is very very thin. The sweater itself is quite lovely – I really like the button details. However, this is NOT a TTS XS. It’s waaaay too big for me. I think I might be giving it away as a gift… but we’ll see. I do like it, I just don’t think it fits me right.

Sworn Virgins Veronica 3/4 Sleeve Top, Black, Small

In one of my most proud moments, I snagged this shirt within seconds of it coming up for sale! Ever since I returned the white in size XS, I knew I would not regret sizing up to a small. This is a gorgeous shirt. I love the space of the buttons – it dresses your normal henley style up a bit. I can see myself wearing this out to the bar when it gets colder out. That is, if I ever go to the bar. (Rare) LOVE this. But, size up for sure. It was still tight in a S, and I could easily fit a M.

Fresh Karat Nantucket Headband, Blue

Hopefully this pic works for ya. I don’t really know how to “model” a headband… but then again I don’t really know how to “model” anything! Ha! Anyway, this headband was something I just wanted to try out. It’s really cute and very thin – it’s really just one piece of fabric that you can fold/unfold to make it bigger or smaller. I still have to learn how to work it, but it is very stretchy, even to my big head, and it seems to stay in place pretty well. I’ll be bringing this to Mexico to try and fight the frizzies. Also, the bee can very easily be removed.

And finally, a dress!

Free People Striped Halter Dress, Stone, X-Small

I got this dress on a whim to wear on my vacations. I’m not sure how much wear I will get out of it, but I am definitely keeping it. It’s very lightweight, and would be perfect for a steamy summer day. The back is VERY low on me, and I will need to pin up the halter top somehow, or have it tailored/sewn in some way. Therefore, I am going to recommend that you size down in this if you want a tighter fit. This was very loose on me… I think a normal size S would easily fit in the XS. I’ll have my sister try it on in Mexico and report back.
