I have purchased dozens of items from RTC and, in general, have been satisfied with all the brands. Jeans are tough for me to buy because I am boy shaped, no hips, no butt, and a slightly thicker waist than I would like. My contribution to January’s “Favorite RTC Item” theme (“Better late than never” goes the saying, right?)

 I have to agree with Missy – my favorite RTC purchase has been all the denim I have acquired.  Last year, I had my third and final baby so decided it was time to get down to my final resting size and get some denim that FITS!  Boy, did I get some denim!!  I pretty much replaced everything I had in my closet and then some.  My favorites from RTC are my Fortune Jeans and James Jeans.   

 I have so many pairs of Fortune Denim, it’s almost embarrassing. Most of the cuts are “size down” items for me.  My favorite pair of Fortunes is the Shanghai Stars in Dragon Wash, which is the only cut that fits me best in my true size.  For the Renee cut and the Hong Kong Hipsters, I fit better in one size down.

 In James Jeans, I have the James cut in Pure Distressed and Antique Gold, both in my true size.  I also purchased the Tom cut in my true size (slim straight fit) in black and I absolutely LOVE these.  The pictures of these jeans don’t do them justice.  They have a beautiful clear crystal button closure, small clear crystal rivets on the front pockets, and black crystal detailing on the rear pockets.  In addition to being beautiful, they are a great cut and stretchy enough to remain comfortable all day long.  I had never purchased James Jeans until RTC and they are now one of my favorite brands.  They fit me very well and do not stretch out during the day.

 I’m sure it’s likely that a lot of these are no longer available, but definitely snag them if you happen to see some!!

I used to be really into Red Tag Crazy and have accumulated a few items worthy of mentioning.

The first item I really love is my Akiko Nikki Dress. It’s form-fitting but not in an unflattering way. It’s great for women who have curves (like me) because of the subtle ruffle draping the front of the dress. I remember picking this dress up for less than $20 and that wasn’t a crazy sale!

I also really love my C&C California Tank is Sea Green. It’s beautiful and fits me very well! It’s one of the softest tanks I own and I was really happy I purchased it.

My LinQ Basic Tank in Ink is also a great staple for any girl to have in their closet. I wish I had picked up more of these but they went super fast! Hopefully, RTC will be able to get more for us ladies. I’d definitely recommend buying some. They’re cute, can be worn alone or as layers, and are definitely the perfect summer basic for your wardrobe.

I hope to acquire one or two new pieces with my remaining RTCash but will definitely be cutting back due to financial reasons! Hopefully, as the economy picks up, so will my budget for great clothes!

Over the past year I have made many purchases from RTC. There are only 2 items that I received that I wasn’t super crazy about and that is just because they were too tight. I bought them on crazy sale so I could not return them. I still really liked the shirts. Everything else that has fit I  have totally loved. read more…
