Looking skinny in my skinny jeans

December 14th, 2009 by Keeley in Black Orchid, denim

Can your jeans really make you look skinny or fat? Well, yeah! DUH! Ask a guy and they may think you’re crazy, but as women we know. It’s all in the fabric, the wash, the butt pockets, and of course the style. read more…

Gigantic Shipment part 1 – Denim deals!

October 27th, 2009 by AudioMom in Fortune Denim, James Jeans, Red Engine, denim

Like many of my fellow Chick Chatters, I admittedly have a denim addiction.  I have lost the rest of my baby weight (toning still in progress) but I finally feel as though I’ve reached my resting size and have justification for my recent denim purchases.  Of the six styles that ended up in my cart, five of them are just perfect and I couldn’t be happier! read more…

RTC Celeb Style DL1961

October 12th, 2009 by Missy in DL 1961, anything goes, denim

One of the new denim brands that I have been introduced to by RTC recently is DL1961. This brand seems to be highly popular here on RTC  as well as on some of our favorite celebs. As stated on one of the DL1961 websites, this brand is made using patented cross-weave technology denim that stretches in both warp and weft, moves 360 degrees, gives superior shape retention, custom fit, and comfort, independent of your body type. DL1961 jeans will not sag, bag, or lose shape. At last, The Perfect Fitting Jeans For Everyone! read more…

Denim Review: Dittos Jeans

September 3rd, 2009 by Paula in Photos, denim, paula

Who remembers Dittos?  Well, at the risk of  ‘dating’ myself – as if it isn’t already too late for that – I have extremely fond and vivid memories of my first pair of red dittos.  I am sure I wore those jeans until they were worn out because, I recall that I spent most of the 9th grade in them!  My pair looked similar to these: read more…

AudioMom’s shipment blog: So Fortunate!

August 25th, 2009 by AudioMom in Cino, Fortune Denim, anything goes, denim, dresses

With all the hype over the Fortune line since its event day, I thought I’d blog about my shipment containing goodies from Fortune Denim. I have to say, on the day before the event, I looked at the teaser photos and thought they looked very nice, but really wasn’t too interested. I was supposed to be taking a break from shopping that week. Well, I poked my head into Chick Chat a couple of times that day and every time I did, Karen Noseff was there. She was so helpful with everyone’s questions and gave great descriptions of her product line. As I spent more time on Chick Chat, I realized I was hooked. My week without shopping turned into a Fortune Denim obsession and resulted in four Fortune items making their way into my latest shipment. read more…

August 25th, 2009 by Wendy in Fortune Denim, denim, linQ clothing

I was soooooo excited to learn about the Fortune Denim and I thought Karen just rocked the house by being on CC all day the day of the Fortune event! As it turned out I wanted to see EVERYTHING before I made any decisions, so after several rounds and a few days, I decided on the Tina in Imperial Wash and the Shanghai Star in Dragon Wash, as well as the Jade dress and then of course a LinQ tee.
