Project Runway Recap: All-Star Challenge Winner

Since so many of us watch the show, once again, I thought it would be fun to have a weekly review of some of the fashions featured in the Project Runway episodes. My plan is to do the blog recap over the weekend so that everyone can catch up on the episode if they weren’t able to see it right away. (And sorry for the delay on this, but I couldn’t get on the blog site for a while!) I’m not going to do a standard episode recap with all the details, since you can get those anywhere, but obviously there *will* be spoilers. Project Runway Recap: Episode 1

I hope you all have had opportunity to watch the season premiere of PROJECT RUNWAY, featuring all new talent, styles, and attitudes. I am kicking off my new blog series – a weekly recap of the fashions on PR. I’ll also be showing you some of the winning looks from the all-star challenge episode a bit later as well. This week was an interesting start to the competition with Lindsay Lohan as a guest judge for a Red Carpet Look challenge. I was impressed with her judging skills, actually. But I digress. Erica’s Fortune Package – Everything Else Besides the Jeans!

Due to a combination of not being able to wait for my Fortunes and trying to cut down on my spending, I hit ship far, far earlier than I usually do. Since this is an experiment for many of us, I thought I’d dedicate one blog just to the Fortunes and take care of everything else in a separate posting.

Here is my collection of last-but-not-leasts, along with a few more wrap-up words about the few items that I will be sending back to RTC. I really wish that everything worked, because I loved it all, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. Still, I am so excited about this package — perhaps moreso than I’ve ever been about any previous ones. (I know, can that be possible?) I am sure that there will be future packages that will top this one, though. RTC never disappoints.

I’ve just realized that this is one of my biggest blog series from a shipment, because I am keeping so much of it. Yes, there will definitely be returns, but I still wound up with a hefty loot. I’ve also only just recently noticed the “Value” indicator at the top of the packing slip, totalling the value of all of your items. Holy, my number was a BIG number this time. Erica’s August Package – Zensei Strikes Again!

I was trying to think of what to call this package, and I decided to go with August, because hey, it is the 3rd of August! I bought so much ZENsei, that yet again, I felt it was necessary to give the brand its own spotlight again. What can I say? I love it. I am sad that a pair of pants didn’t work out for me, but what can ya do? Erica’s Shoe Shipment Photos

Fashion Emergency Kit: Survival for Everyday Fashion

You all know by now that I can be somewhat of a…walking disaster. Whether you are a klutz like me or not, I believe that every woman should have an emergency kit that she either carries around with her or leaves in her her desk drawer.
