I know I am not the only one who has been on the treadmill next to some dude wearing shorts WAY to short; or, those people who insist on wearing spandex that draw attention to ALL the wrong places. What about the girls who feel the need to wear as *little* as possible to the gym, then just *happen* to do their runner’s stretch right in front of where all of the guys are bench pressing.

From food to fitness, these are the five rules you need to abide by. It doesn’t have anything to do with weight loss, dieting… it’s about living healthy.
Nutrition is a whole topic that is much to large to write about in one blog.
I am going to take it in increments. It’s like saying, ‘Ok guys I’m going to
tell you all about Sociology in one blog’.
Today’s post is going to be on myth busting regarding nutrition and

I’m not one to really use that much equipment during workouts. I have resistance bands, balance and medicine balls, but I feel that is all you really need for a good workout, unless you are a body builder of course. Recently the boom with fitness tools has really increased, from the electronic ab workout belt to the thigh blaster, there seems to be a never ending list of things to make workouts easier and provide a “quick fix” to problem areas.
So I’m a bit late on Eating Disorder Awareness Week, but what the hey. I believe awareness is the first step in preventing many diseases. I have worked in eating disorder clinics and can tell you that there are many more diseases than Anorexia and Bulimia. Many people don’t know about many of them such as, EDNOS, COE, Anorexia Athletica, SED-NOS, PICA, night eating, BDD, Orthorexia, and Bigorexia, are just a few that are starting to be recognized as diagnosable eating disorders. In this post I’d like to discuss proper cardio and exercise in moderation.

Okay, I believe this is a very important topic to cover since there are so many diets out there and people seem to be so utterly concerned about dieting. In today’s post I plan on going over some of the most popular fad diets, why they are bound to fail, why they are unhealthy, and what the best “diet” really is. I hate the word diet. It is too often associated with weight loss. First of all a diet can be to gain, lose or maintain weight. A person’s diet is what they eat on a daily basis. Newborns’ diets consist of milk. I just want to make sure that when I say ‘diet’ you don’t think ‘cutting calories’ or ‘lose weight’ or ‘weight watchers!’. I mean diet in it’s original form: habitual nourishment. Eat healthy for life not just a few months. The ultimate goal here is to change ones lifestyle in a beneficial way to promote health and longevity.

Do you have a Wii? Do you have Wii Fit? Well, listen up, because have I got the “game” for you. You may have heard me talk about this over the past couple days on Chick Chat, but I wanted to wait a few days to get a better feel/grasp for the game before I jumped the gun and wrote a review. After a few days of using it, I have great news to report!
Since I know that a lot of ladies on here like their Wii Fit, I thought I’d put together a list of some of the games out there that are great for getting you in shape while having fun. I’ll include ones that I’ve tried and liked, ones that I want, ones I haven’t tried that look like they have potential, and ones that are coming out soon.
Here are a list of games that I’ve tried that have great workout potential.
With denim day coming up on RTC (March 27th!!), I know I would love to blast my current love handles off with some nice cardio and a little core training. I’ve definitely been following Khristi’s awesome blog regarding how to get fit with her, but mine will just be targeting the abs area because that’s what I’ll be going through the next couple months!
So what are the five ways to Fab Abs?
