In the spirit of Earth Day (I know, I’m a little late!), I thought I’d share a quick nail polish tip. Basically how it works is you send in your old crusty nail polish bottles that are just laying around unused – you know you have them! – and they send you a brand new polish of your choice.
HAPPY EARTH WEEK! These days we are seeing more and more people focus on being eco friendly. To be Eco Chic doesn’t mean being a tree hugger. There are a few things we can do in our daily lives to do our part to help save the earth.
We all know that the women of RedTagCrazy.com care about fashion, we know they care about a good deal too…but did you know they also care about helping the enviroment as well? Don’t believe me? Well check it out for yourself…
I’m glad you came back for more! Let’s get a look at some new brands!!
On my continuing journey to find ways to make my household more eco-friendly, I looked for some new ways to conserve paper. I found many of the standard suggestions for saving a tree, but I came upon a few “new” ideas as well.
There are, of course, many ways to conserve paper and many of them you may already know.
In this blog about how to make your household green, I wanted to give some good ideas on how to conserve water. My favorite water saving campaign was when I was living in LA during one of the many drought years… “Save water, shower with a friend.” But on the chance that this is not an option, here are some other avenues of conservation to explore. (maybe not as fun, but certainly effective!)
Many of these suggestions, by themselves, seem trivial. But when you put them altogether, I believe they can make a real difference!
I have recently been researching ways to make my household more eco-friendly. There is, of course, a vast amount of information on the subject, even whole books written on how to transform your home room by room. But for me, I need to start slow and easy. As much as I would like think that I would go to the ends of the “earth” to save the environment, I know that if it is not an easy, convenient and/or quick activity, the reality is that it will most likely not get done. I mean, come on, hanging all of your laundry out in the backyard in order to save the energy used by the dryer is a commendable idea. However, with a family of 4, my backyard would look like the Beverly hillbillies had come to roost; not to mention, the mental picture of all my underwear frozen stiff in the winter and covered in bugs in the summer!
