Erin’s Vacation Packing Guide

September 3rd, 2009 by Erin in Erin, How To..., Polyvore, Travel, anything goes

I’m the type of person who lives by lists. I need a to-do list at work or school when I get stressed. I simply cannot function without one. In the same vein, whenever I go traveling somewhere for more than a few days, I totally freak out and worry about what I need to pack. Thankfully, I have this blog and you readers to help me!

Slimming Fashion Tips: Fluffy Tummies

August 11th, 2009 by Stephanie in Flatter your figure, How To..., Stephanie, anything goes, fashion

Hey, I don’t know what else to call it.  That’s what I call mine, lol.  This is my biggest problem area.  When I gain weight, it goes straight to my tummy.  So, my end up still fitting everywhere else, just making me have a beautiful muffin top.  So, when I started this blog series, I realized I knew a lot about slimming other problem areas…just not my own.

Slimming Fashion Tips: Wide Hips

August 10th, 2009 by Stephanie in Flatter your figure, How To..., Stephanie, anything goes, fashion

Slimming Fashion Tips: Plus-Sized Ladies

August 9th, 2009 by Stephanie in Advice, Flatter your figure, How To..., Stephanie, fashion

We’ve all heard myths, or ideas, from other people on how to slim or “cover up”.  You shouldn’t be covering up though!  The plus-sized loose clothing is over sized and shapeless.  It hides all of your body.  Choose clothes that are tailored to accentuate your favorite features.

Posh Eclectic: A Certain Madcap Glamour

August 8th, 2009 by Bailey in Bailey, How To..., Photos, anything goes

Rock and Roll: Balancing the Tough with the Ethereal

July 28th, 2009 by Bailey in Bailey, How To..., anything goes

“Who among us has not, at least for a moment, wanted to look as cool as Patti Smith on the cover of Horses, or Debbie Harry in the old days of Max’s Kansas City, or Kate Moss hanging out at an English rock festival? And yet, without the benefit of being an actual rock star, trying to pull off such a thing seems best left to, well, Kate Moss.”** read more…

A Fashionable Hitchin’ part 1: The Bridesmaid Dress (part one)

July 13th, 2009 by Dan in Advice, Dan, How To..., Weddings, anything goes

Let me preface by saying that I am neither a wedding coordinator nor a fashion expert. However, having sung at an average of 30 weddings per year over the last eight years, I have witnessed both highs and lows of wedding fashions. This is the first in a series of articles that explores the world of weddings. I plan to offer suggestions on choosing looks for the big event, as well as present awards for ensembles from real and recent weddings I have had the pleasure (and, at times, misfortune) of witnessing.
