I forget when exactly I heard about Joe’s Jeans, but it was a few years before I finally made a purchase. I tried on a pair at Von Maur just for fun and it was love at first sight….well except for the price tag and my college student budget! A few years later I was able to make my first purchase and Joe’s are by far my favorite brand. I have tried on other brands, and own Juicy Couture and Fortune, but I always grab Joe’s first. So far I have 2 pairs of Joe’s both in a size 30 (I had to return another pair purchased on eBay because they ran really small for some reason.) read more…

Denim Experimentation Extravaganza

Sunday, my friend and I decided to go to Hobby Lobby to buy some beads so we could make some necklaces and earrings. We, however, did not realize Hobby Lobby was closed on Sundays, so left with nothing to do, I suggested we go to Nordstrom to try on some premium denim. Poor girl happily agreed, although she didn’t try on anything. I tried on 4 different brands, so it wasn’t REALLY an extravaganza…but…the exaggeration maybe helped draw you in, AND IT’S TOO LATE NOW! You have to keep reading. Muhahaha.

We all know that the Boyfriend Jean is making a major comeback! We have seen them popping up on RTC during denim day and since then. We have also seen pics of CC’ers in there super cute boyfriend jeans as well. We are not the only ones liking this new trend. Celebs are being spotted wearing this style of denim in brand names that we get right here on RTC. Good thing we do not pay as much as they do

Okay, here is the thing. After waiting so long to get married (31) and then waiting a few more years to start a family (something I recommend if at all possible!), I was up there at 34 and 36 when I had my boys. Possibly it is my delayed jump into motherhood that caused my lack of foresight, but somehow, the fact that I would be spending the majority of my summers running from one baseball game to another has completely taken me by surprise.
