Avon Walk Update: The Countdown Begins

We’re close. 13 days left until the Avon Walk. For those of you who missed the first blog, the Avon Walk is a 39 mile walk taking place May 1 & 2 in Washington D.C. to help raise funds to fight Breast Cancer. I have to raise $1800 to be able to participate (a great goal!). And I’m so close. I have just about $350 to go (visit www.avonwalk.org/goto/kristenwood for more info).

Not too long ago, it was unacceptable to use machines to do any wine cropping. Australia and other remote countries didn’t have much choice, however, due to lack of harvest labor. So they led the pack in inventions and soon their mechanizations became acceptable around the world, even in traditional areas such as Bordeaux.
