The past few weekends here at Red Tag Crazy, they’ve been having some super red tag crazy events! And they’ve all been wonderful. Midnight Masquerade

*WARNING* I apologize upfront for this being a pseudo-downer blog, but not everyone’s prom is all roses and rainbows.

Prom… A well known, highly superficial, greatly anticipated right of passage for most high schoolers. Many movies have been based solely on the idea of prom. “Pretty in Pink”, “She’s All That”, and of course “Carrie”. Okay, maybe not that last one. But they do all focus on this grand idea that prom is the end all be all of your high school identity. I did not find this to be the case for my high school promenade. Prom was just something you went to and I really didn’t even want to go. I don’t mean to make prom sound so negative, I just didn’t have that great of an experience. In fact, I was one of those girls that cried at prom. But it wasn’t all bad… I did design my own dress, which is really the only reason I wanted to go to prom anyway. =) read more…

Hoodies are a critical part of my wardrobe. I wear them all the time. I always have one somewhere near me ready to keep me warm on a cool night. They are the epitome of comfort and casual in my mind.
