Favorite Childhood Recipe & a Guilt-Free Alfredo Recipe

June 30th, 2010 by Miranda in Recipes, anything goes

I have been shopping on RTC for a year now (although I haven’t been on in a long time), have made quite a few purchases, but have never taken the time to do a blog! I love reading others’ blogs & oftentimes I will make a purchase based on the review and picture someone else blogged about….so I should really get with the program and start blogging about my purchases! I also recently just moved from Washington state to sunny SoCal and have some spare time on my hands right now. read more…

My Summer Recipes

June 16th, 2010 by Missy in Missy, Recipes, Theme Blogs

Being from the south, when I think of summer I think of HOT….lol. I also think of cook outs and parties and what to take to them. I cooked and baked so much more before kids and now that there is a new baby I cook even less. So as you may have guessed I am always looking for that quick, easy, few ingredient, delicious snack, side, or meal. Here are a few of my favorites. read more…

Quick and Easy Healthy Recipes

June 9th, 2010 by Gabby in Gabby, Recipes, Theme Blogs

Getting to know the chick chatters has been a wonderful side effect of fabulous shopping here at RTC. I am learning new things from everyone posting, and often reminded of habits I’ve forgotten along the way. Eating healthy is so important. Especially as women, we tend to lead very busy lives caring for our families, homes, communities, and working. With such hectic schedules, eating properly becomes less of a priority. That’s why I searched for two healthy recipes that are also quick to prepare. Getting in and out of the kitchen quickly, frees us up to spend more time with family, friends, and of course, some extra time for shopping too!

Summer Recipes To Keep You Cool

June 4th, 2010 by Gabby in Gabby, Recipes, Theme Blogs

I spent my youth in the Midwest, and for us, May meant the beginning of Tornado season.  Living in the country, the power was turned off as a safety precaution whenever there was a big storm in our area. We were always prepared with items such as flashlights and battery operated radios, and my mom was always prepared with food. She had a number of recipes that could be made ahead and served without having to reheat. read more…

My Favorite… recipes!!! LOL

June 3rd, 2010 by Trixiebell in Recipes, Theme Blogs, anything goes, trixiebell

I LOVE to be about the kitchen.  I am always finding new recipes – in fact, I subscribe to 5 different cooking magazines and am forever receiving emails with different ideas and checking out different websites for new dishes and desserts.  My MAIN area of enjoyment is sweets and I have my own cakery that I operate – actually, I should be working on the order that is due Friday afternoon, but I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to blog about this.  (-:  I can’t help myself when it comes to talking about recipes!!!! read more…

I love love LOVE summer time because I love to grill out and plan cookouts. Heck I don’t even need a cookout to try out some new summer recipes. Recently I have gotten into cooking and baking and have enjoyed posting a blog dedicated to those of us who are a bit of a klutz in the kitchen (kitchenfail.blogspot.com). read more…

How to: Make Bulgogi

April 8th, 2009 by Sunmee in Recipes, Red Tag Crazy, introductions, red tag crazy blog

Bulgogi is probably the most popular and well known Korean food. That is why Bulgogi is the first recipe that I want to share with everybody on Redtagcrazy. I love to cook and I love cooking for a lot of people. I can never seem to make just enough food for 2 people and always end up making enough for 2 people to eat for days. Bulgogi is actually perfect for people who cook like me because you can do so much with it! I never make small portions of bulgogi. I always marinate a big tub of it and leave it in the fridge overnight for the marinade to thoroughly soak in to the meat. You can barbeque bulgogi outside on a grill, you can make bulgogi burgers out of it, you could stirfry it with any kind of vegetables you want to add (although traditionally we use mushrooms, onions, carrots, green onions), if you are cutting down on carbs you could also just wrap it up in lettuce and eat it without rice. Whenever my friends and I plan a barbeque together, bulgogi is the first thing that I think about. I don’t have a set recipe because I have made it so many times that I don’t use measuring cups, I just eyeball it and taste it while I’m making it. Usually when I teach my friends how to make it I have to show them and this is the first time that I actually wrote down the exact recipe. I hope you will all love it as much as I do!
