Gigantic Shipment part 1 – Denim deals!

I have lost the rest of my baby weight (toning still in progress) but I finally feel as though I’ve reached my resting size and have justification for my recent denim purchases. Stephanie’s 24 lb. Package: Denim Day 2

I was having trouble deciding which blog I wanted to start out with. I decided to do the Denim Day jeans first because they’re still in rotation. My photos will be beneficial (to either help you buy or decided not to ). I told myself I was only going to spend $200. Well, I did… plus that $115 I spend on BDB for those super cheap Kasil jeans. So, my pocketbook wasn’t happy, I wasn’t too happy with myself for not sticking to my limit, and Brian just couldn’t understand why I needed half a billion pairs of jeans.

It was all better when I opened up my 3 packages (yes, 3 for one shipment).

Denim Day #2 – A Quick Recap

The long awaited Denim Day #2 finally arrived. This event had been desired and anticipated by RTCers for quite a while and, as usual, RedTagCrazy did not disappoint! Of course, we knew it was going to be a good day when the first item to pop up at 7 am PST was a pair of the much coveted and loved James Jeans! But then, the designers continued to roll out with Kasil, Karmel & Alden, Hudson, DL1961, Lucky Brand Jeans, Black Orchid, Red Engine, True Religion and some Zlush thrown in just for crazy sale fun!

Since coming to RedTagCrazy, and under the tutelage of denim debutante, Jaime, I have over the last several months considerably increased my denim collection (of course at wonderfully discounted prices). I have always loved denim and was slowly stepping into the world of designer denim, but all of a sudden, I find myself fully ensconced. With the ensuing Denim Day #2, I thought I would write out some of the things I like (or don’t like) about various items in my current line up. Now, keep in mind, this is not necessarily a ‘denim review’ – I will leave that to the professionals, i.e. Jaime –here are just some thoughts I wanted to share.
