It’s funny; as a child, I pulled hissyfits if anyone tried to remove my socks and shoes. My feet needed to be covered — at all times. Now, I am dying to kick off my socks and shoes, and would much rather go barefoot if given a choice. That is why I’m in love with my Gurkees rope sandals. Mississippi is not known for it’s gorgeous beaches and big cities, that’s for sure; however, living in the south is not all that bad. I happen to live in a small town in Mississippi, about an hour north of New Orleans, LA; and although there are many Saturdays and Friday nights that me and my friends have rode around in desperation for something fun to do, there are equally as many days we have spent having the time of our lives.
