My Three Piece Suit…LOL

I saw the theme and thought, oh boy. How am I ever going to have time to do this because I have got so much going on this month. I will never have time to sit down and piece something cute together. Literally. I am so busy this month I cannot believe I’ve had time to keep up with the Q&A. I certainly haven’t been shopping. Okay, so this morning while I’m typing this I’ve been browsing, but that’s only because my husband and I have a party to go to on Saturday and, even though my clothes are spilling out of my closet and onto my floor and out of my daughter’s closet, I still feel this urge to shop for something. Why? My husband told me he wants me to look HOTTT. He would die if he knew that I was shopping for something online instead of shopping in my closet for something. LOLOL!!! read more…

A Couple of My Favorite Recipes

I have always loved to bake but only in the last few years have I learned to appreciate cooking as well.  I love to find new recipes and have enjoyed reading all the recipe blogs this month.  I tend to lean more towards healthy stuff so even my “indulgent” recipe is healthy but I promise it makes a sweet tooth happy!!

My Summer Recipes

Shipment Review #1

So, I received my first ever RTC shipment about a a week ago.  It remained in “processing” for a bit, but once it shipped it was here in no time.  Kudos to RTC for using normal FedEx and not FedEx SnailPost.  Almost all of the items I got came from the closeout section, so I don’t know how helpful this review will be to anyone (considering the items may be gone by the time it’s posted!)  But I’m in it for the RTCash baby! read more…

Quick and Easy Healthy Recipes

Getting to know the chick chatters has been a wonderful side effect of fabulous shopping here at RTC. I am learning new things from everyone posting, and often reminded of habits I’ve forgotten along the way. Eating healthy is so important. Especially as women, we tend to lead very busy lives caring for our families, homes, communities, and working. With such hectic schedules, eating properly becomes less of a priority. That’s why I searched for two healthy recipes that are also quick to prepare. Getting in and out of the kitchen quickly, frees us up to spend more time with family, friends, and of course, some extra time for shopping too!

Summer Recipes To Keep You Cool

I spent my youth in the Midwest, and for us, May meant the beginning of Tornado season.  Living in the country, the power was turned off as a safety precaution whenever there was a big storm in our area. We were always prepared with items such as flashlights and battery operated radios, and my mom was always prepared with food. I LOVE to be about the kitchen.  I am always finding new recipes – in fact, I subscribe to 5 different cooking magazines and am forever receiving emails with different ideas and checking out different websites for new dishes and desserts.  My MAIN area of enjoyment is sweets and I have my own cakery that I operate – actually, I should be working on the order that is due Friday afternoon, but I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to blog about this.  (-:  I can’t help myself when it comes to talking about recipes!!!! read more…
